whats happened?

Well... a lot has happened of late...

Apr 08 - Moved from South Melbourne to Niddrie (temp)
- Made redundant from my job with the Western Bulldogs
- swapped cars with my sister - Ford Fairlaine for Peugeot 306 S16

Jun 08 - Picked up some casual work (3 weeks worth)

Aug 08 - Got new job with Independence Australia in Equipment Services
- Moved to Campbellfield from Niddrie
- Replaced tie-rods, power steering hoses and drivers side drive shaft

Sep 08 - Came runner up in voting for my hockey. (equal to a best & fairest in other codes)
- Replaced ignition coils and engine mounts

Oct 08 - Turned 41
- Repaired passenger side drive shaft
- paid 6 months rego on the peugeot (QLD)

Nov 08 - My dept at work went from three people to one (me)
- one on extended sick leave, one let go due to lack of sales

Dec 08 - Christmas (always a busy time)
- Minor service - oil and filter changes (by me)

Jan 09 - Took a week holiday - down to Anglesea Beach
- Extended sick leave absentee returned to work

Feb 09 - Sick leave absentee once again on sick leave - indefinite
- Redesigned work systems as they were falling down, wrote reports chased accounts
- Moved from Niddrie to Sunbury (on Black Saturday!)

Mar 09 - Hockey starts again
- need to organise cam belt and water pump changeover
- need to organise 4 new tyres
- need to replace passenger side drive shaft
- need to replace gearbox mounting
- need to replace broken headlight and driving light
- think about replacing windscreen washer unit
- finish making repairs/adjustments to house

Apr 09 - need to have car in roadworthy condition to change rego over to VIC - currently registered in QLD (sister gave me the car)
- look at installing storage/shelving/cupboards in garage
- purchase some more tools (automotive) - maybe a compressor and welding gear
- convince the mrs I need a project car to work on

Well that is about all... nothing was small, everything seemed like a hassle, taking planning and preparation.
As you can see, unfortunately, no study in the past 12 months, and not sure if there will be in the next 12...

Still have a lot to do around the house - i.e. garden/landscaping, deciding on whether to build a bungalow for my dad, fixing up windows to have insect screens, getting the down lights checked (they seem to flicker an awful lot), look at installing rain water collection/dispersal system, digging out and levelling the cellar, then insulating and bricklaying, then installing racking and if that wasn't enough, finish painting!

I will pop by from time to time.

Cheers
Waz
